My favorite part of a good martini (bombay, up, slightly dirty) is savoring the olive at the end. It’s been soaking in gin and is the perfect palate cleanser after a strong drink.
I’m not sure why no one seems to sell jars of olives that are already soaking in gin. Shelf life? Liquor laws? Seems like the perfect thing to keep in a desk drawer for the modern Don Draper.
